Hendrie wants football and O'Leary says he has a future: Will Hendrie play?

Saturday, 11 March 06, 11:37 AM · Comments (0)

Pretty boy Lee Hendrie, and he is pretty, spoke a few months ago of leaving if he didn't get regular football. Some of the press have re-hashed it this week but it's still not stopped O'Pointmetothemic from commenting on it - saying Hendrie still has a future at Villa Park.

I'm not entirely sure O'Leary knows what is actually going on. Hendrie has said he wants football or he's going to leave and O'Leary has said he still has a future. Does this mean O'Leary is going to play Hendrie or is it O'Leary just talking for the sake of talking?

Whatever it is I hope Hendrie just waits around a bit because I am predicting O'Leary will leave Aston Villa 'by mutual consent' fairly soon and Hendrie may get another opportunity.

If he decided to leave though I wouldn't blame him - he'd probably do really well at Wolves and he'd be interesting to watch away from Villa.
