Kev's banker bet: Charlton Athletic

{mosimage}I'm going back to gold old fashioned predicting this weekend and I'm going to predict that we're going on a run of massive proportions. We'll beat Charlton tomorrow and we'll get 10 points from our next four matches.

David O'Leary has got his team back and he has no more excuses. Patrik Berger been injured isn't an excuse as he wasn't going to play every game. He has everyone else apart from martin Laursen but he's known about that since before the player came to Villa Park - so he has no excuse.

Villa played well against Liverpool and did okay against Sunderland. The key man for Villa is Milan Baros. With him in the team they will play better and at home I've got a feeling he's going to want to shine. Charlton, although having a good away record are losing it at the moment and I suspect they've had their annual run and now it's time for us to have our annual run.

Don't think my position on O'Leary has changed, it hasn't. Even if we go on a little run now till the end of the season the best we can hope for is UEFA but we all know that's not going to happen and that is what O'Leary promised us. We'll beat Charlton because they are due a beating away from home. Go put a tenner on it - you'll thank me on Monday.

Prediction: Win
Man of the match: Baros
