Laursen: Out for the season
The Danish defender travelled with physio Alan Smith to see specialist Dr Richard Steadman in the USA, where the bad news was revealed.
It's a major blow for David O'Leary, as the ?3m capture from AC Milan has shown his quality in the few games that he played for the club.
O'Leary confirmed Laursen's absence, "We won't see him in action again this season. It's a blow, but I suppose it's one I was prepared for."
