Lee Hendrie testimonial

I didn't believe it myself when I read it but apparently Lee Hendrie is going to get one and it is planned as a pre-season match at Villa Park next year.
Hendrie signed professional terms at Villa in 1994 and made his debut in 1995 against Queens Park Rangers.
He has made 291 appearances for Villa, obtaining 53 yellow cards and 4 reds.
I'm sure he's not doing it for the money and the proceeds will be going to a local charity so the question surely has to be, does pretty boy Lee Hendrie deserve a testimonial?
