Lerner doesn't rule out renaming Villa Park

Should Randy Lerner gain control of Aston Villa Football Club there is every possibility that Villa Park could be renamed.

The renaming would be part of a sponsorship deal and Mr Lerner said "Naming rights is something we would have to look at because it could make a very positive impact on revenue,"

"I hope people are more open-minded about it now. If there is an extremely negative reaction, I'll have to take that into account."

Personally, Villa Park will always be Villa Park to me and if we can get some serious cash into the business by letting someone have the name for a few seasons then let it happen, in fact bring it on.
