Martin O'Neill or Martin the Magnificent as he will be known on here from now on, by me anyway, has won the manager of the month award for April.
April was a big month to win it as we have played six games, three at home and three away. We haven't lost won and won everything away.
Well we can start the month off positively with three points tomorrow before the last game of the season against Bolton the weekend after.
This award is the fourth one O'Neill has won as a Premiership manager but I'm feeling confident he'll be picking up quite a few more during his time with the club.
I'm delighted to get this award. We've put some good results together over the last few weeks - then again we've had to! Winning three on the trot away from home was obviously very pleasing and we just need to replicate that sort of form at Villa Park. - Martin the Magnificent, May 4th 2007

From day one he told it like it was, no bull, no spin, no lies.
When we were bad he said so, and told us to expect that.
He's got us through the rough patch, and with time we will be a force to be reckoned with, all hail Martin O'Neill, a well deserved award, may there be many more.

for me one of the best managers ever produced in british football. a well deserved anager of the month award. no matter what circumstances, he always keeps his cool and nerve, abd in the end it pays off.
i genuinely love this bloke.only time will tell if hes a great manager for the Villa but what a character! the knockers need a dose of realism, villa were a sham before he and Randy came in and things are moving in the right direction faster than i could ever have hoped for.
