Mark Lawrenson might be a muppet but you won't change his mind

Earlier in the week Mark Lawrenson predicted that Wigan would beat Aston Villa because 'Villa stumbled last week' and despite him getting the mickey taken out of him by quite possibly the entire footballing community, and not for the first time, he has changed his write up but not his prediction.
Now, it says 'Villa won at Everton last week' but he still fancies Wigan. The thing is, Mark Lawrenson probably fancies a lot of things that he shouldn't but why, if we were the first team to beat Everton at home all season should he still fancy them over Villa?
The reason Mark Lawrenson fancies Wigan over Villa is because Mark Lawrenson knows as much about football as David O'Leary does.
Anyway, the BBC might have changed what he wrote but his prediction didn't change; doesn't mind as most people still have the same opinion of the man.
It's also nice to see that the BBC change things on their site without putting a 'modified notice'.

That man is a complete and utter twat!
Marl Lawrenson is the poor man's Larry Grayson. He's as camp as Larry ever was, but unfortunately his stand up routine is borderline pathetic.
I'm not sure who knows less about football and not sure why Lawrenson does Match Of The Day still, but I do know that I dislike both of them and so do many other football fans!
that says it all - his latest missive in the mirror constantly slags off the Toon defence - he was actually employed at one time as defensive coach at Newcastle during the KK reign - it was shite then too but we scored more than we conceded - he left after a couple of months 'cos he was crap at the job.
He also states that 'newcastle sacked Dalglish after finishing 2nd'
Take another look at the stats, lawro, you'll find we finished 13th! He's never forgiven us after having a well aimed pie hit him on the head b4 the FA cup semi at Cardiff 2 years ago - the man is a twat
he goes on abot the big 4 an im sure he wud take up the offer of a one night stand if fergie offered it. bit of a chump in my opinion. gd player in his day tho.
