David O'Leary won't be telling us he cross dresses at the weekend but based on how his team play and the manner in which they come out of the traps will be a signal to the supporters of Aston Villa that he means business or he's just got very lucky the last few games.
I for one don't think you get lucky in your third season so I'm putting recent form down as a blip - just like you can't win every match every now and then the football will get a little better or we'll play one of those teams that need to have a bad day.
Where we are sitting in the table and results since David O'Leary arrived at Aston Villa don't lie - he's lost as many as he's won.
The Hawthorns will be a good place to get a much needed three points but they'll be thinking they can get three points tomorrow also. In theory West Brom could go above us if they beat us tomorrow - it's not going to be as easy as some may think.
West Brom started the Christmas fixture period with a 0-3 defeat at Old Trafford on Boxing Day, then beat Spurs 2-0 at the Hawthorns last Wednesday, and lost by one goal to Liverpool at Anfield on New Years Eve - would Villa have gotten three points out of those three games?
Last season we drew both fixtures with West Brom 1-1 and if I'm going to be brutally honest I don't expect it to change tomorrow however a victory, if it were to come for either team I feel would probably come for Aston Villa - lady luck is wearing claret and blue at the moment.
My prediction is 1-1 and at Expekt you'll get a very juicy 5/1 - must be worth a punt?
