Earlier in the season we beat Everton 4-0 at Villa Park and it's something David Moyes is sure to remind his players of. Everton will be up for this game especially as they are only 6 points from a European spot.
The thing is we're only six points from Everton so if Villa win there is hope for us, slimmer than David O'Leary's wallet when out on a Saturday night after a victory, but still hope.
Everton are on a run though and they've won their last five at home and have picked up 10 points from a possible 12. They are also the team with the most victories in the bottom half of the table, which is probably why they are right at the top of the bottom half.
Villa will likely start with Luke Moore and Gabriel Agbonlahor up front as Baros, Angel and Phillips are all injured or have a virus. If Liam Ridgewell, Steven Davis and Gareth Barry all start that will be five players from the Aston Villa youth system and with more to come through the future is bright for Aston Villa.
The problem for Villa tomorrow is going to be the same problem we've had all season and we don't need to go over old ground but occasionally we can string a few passes together if the team we're playing are having an off day and tomorrow I'm hoping Everton are having an off day.
I'm going to make a very brave prediction for tomorrow and say it will be an Aston Villa victory. It will be close but I've got a good feeling about Luke Moore and Gabriel Agbonlahor.
They may both be young but we all know what they are capable of and given enough opportunities tomorrow I'm convinced they'll take one or two. You've spotted the gaping whole in my plan but sometimes we do create a lot of opportunities and Agbonlahor is apparently the fastest player at Villa so maybe he can create his own.
