Mystery shoppers visit Villa Park and the club get rated number one

Aston Villa Football Club are the most customer friendly team in the league when it comes to sales and marketing and the entertainment and catering came out top of the list for health and cleanliness.

The news was announced by General Krulak on Heroes and Villains this morning.

It's not an easy job having to keep a stadium like Villa Park clean and tidy when you've got thousands of people milling about and it's not really anything to do with the football at Villa but it deserves a mention.

I must confess to not going in Villa village since just after Hummell got the contract for the clothes, to me it's shoddy and expensive, not something I'd pay good money for.
Don't get me wrong, I was in there on a regular basis before and spent a lot of money, and if the sales staff are still as good as they were then, I can understand why they have this award, they were always excellent.
The marketing dept I have no experience of.
One thing that needs sorting, is the amount of smoke in the catering area of the lower Holte, it's choking and not a good place to eat or drink, and it must be extremely unhealthy for the staff behind the counters, as well as non smokers in the crowd.

The news has been everywhere about the ban on public smoking from July 1st 2007 so there will no longer be the issue....bloomin marvellous!
