Neville consortium make an offer for Aston Villa?

According to reports a bid, fronted by Michelle Neville, of ?64mn. has been made to purchase Aston Villa plc.
I don't really care if this is true or not but I do care if it's a consortium buying our club. I hope and pray that if this is true that the specualtion surrounding Randy Lerner is also true and a bid by him is made.
More opinion to follow as and when we get it. But please Doug, don't accept from a consortium.
