New forum coming for Aston Villa fans

We asked the question a while ago about launching our own forum and over 90% said they'd use it so we're just putting one together but news 'broke' today that the official website are about to launch a new 'message board' fairly soon also.
Apart from the dictatorial moderators and gang mentality of some of the users it's not such a bad place but the forum has needed upgrading for a few years.
There is a lot of forum software they can pick but let's hope it's something like vBulletin or Simple Machines so the community can develop in an up to date environment with a very clean and crisp look and feel.
I suspect it will be vBulletin for the official site but that's just a hunch, whereas we'll be using Simple Machines. If anyone has any suggestions before we start putting in too much time please get in contact with us.

I had wondered what happened to them.. Went one day to check in to follow a match (I'm in the states) and it was gone! No Yoda or nothing! I was bummed.. I hope they get new forums up soon.
didnt know where the message boards had gone!
I even mailed the Contact Us address but no reply!

Has anyone got the link to the official messag boards? I had it in my favuorites but i got a new computer :( it was working the other day cos i was on it but only ppl who know the link can get onto it?
