New level for David O'Leary

Monday, 26 December 05, 09:11 AM · Comments (0)

The clueless one is not scared of confirming his status as the Premiership fool when he told told PA Sport: "James Beattie is a good centre-forward. He has taken time to settle in at Everton but I?d still love James here."

Why does O'Leary feel it necessary to talk about the other team during the build up to a match - he should be concentrating on Aston Villa and be fully focused on that job - not making himself look more stupid.

Naturally O'Leary would love James Beattie at Villa Park - he'd fit right in with his performances since joining Everton - a goal every 5 games and a red card.

Doug Ellis was proven absolutely correct in not pushing for Beattie and its got to have you worried when an 81 year old knows more about a player than the manager?
