No Funds for O'Leary? Not much of a problem

To give O'Leary money in the Summer would be like Birmingham City Council authorising a sewage plant in Small Heath - very unnecessary.

I've read recently that Mr O'Leary has been watching Wolves 'centre forward' Carl Cort with a view to bringing him to B6. This is because he feels that we need an old fashioned no.9 to win balls for the likes of Baros to run on to. Erm, is it me, or is this yet another example of why the mis-manager of our beloved club must be shipped out quicker than a Bluenose camped outside your house in his caravan?

Mr O'Leary still says his great vision was to have James Beattie and 'if only we had a big, strong old style player like that up front' we would be, I dunno, thirteenth?

With the greatest respect to the fool, sorry, I mean O'Leary, his lack of logic astounds me. Who was it who sold Peter Crouch to South-of-the-Prem-hampton for a pittance?

Now don't get me wrong, I am no advocate for the yet unrecognised genius that is Peter 'Lurch' Crouch, in fact I wouldn't pay him in washers to hang me washing out on a 10 foot line. Surely though, isn't Lurch exactly the kind of 'player' O'Leary says he is after?

As I have said, I do not rate Lurch that much, but he has been playing Champions League football for the Scousers and now seems to be an 'interesting option' for England. The Scousers took the mick out of him because the saddos always expect another Ian Rush, but Lurch does 'exactly what it says on the tin'.

He's a big, a very big lad, who can knock the ball down to your main striker to create a chance. This is apparently what O'Leary wants, yet he sold him. Now he is looking at the likes of Carl Cort! Does that not sum O'Leary up?

When it comes to Carl Cort, well I don't know about you but I'd have thought Thora Hird could inspire more threat up front than that clown.

Typical O'Leary, the only funds he should receive in the Summer is the bus fare to the Hawthorns where a manager of his 'quality' can be truly appreciated.

Thank God the Blues and the Baggies are worse than Abu Hamza doing a handstand, otherwise we'd be relegated by now.

Get O'Leary out and get us back to the level of a certain dignity, please.
