No offers for Solano

Monday, 22 August 05, 09:25 PM · Comments (0)

David O'Leary said today that he has received no offers from Nolberto Solano, and re-iterated his desire to keep him.

According to Sky Sports, O'Leary has claimed that, while he would never stop anyone leaving the club that wanted to, he has a good relationship with Nobby and has received no offers.

O'Leary also refuted claims that Liverpool have made contact about Solano.

Solano was left on the bench on Saturday so he could play against Portsmouth on Tuesday and against Blackburn on Saturday.

However, O'Leary's comments could lead to Solano heading for the exit door now his manager has publicy "allowed" him, or any of the other players, to leave the club.
