Patrik Berger returns to training today and is hopeful of a return to first team action sometime in March.
He said "Things are looking good, I start on Monday with the first team, which I'm looking forward to. The injury's behind me now and since I started progressing, I haven't felt anything. I'm excited. It hasn't been my best season because I was injured at the beginning and I couldn't really play a few games in a row.
I'll give him a match or two but I then fully expect him back on the treatment table - if he makes it that far. It's not news to anyone that he is injury prone - he was at Portsmouth and at Liverpool - why do we need Eirik Bakke when we have Patrik Berger?
Good player though and I'm not having a go at him and it would be great to see him get a decent run, injury free in claret and blue.
