Public Service Ad: Have your say on catering at Villa Park

Tuesday, 19 June 07, 04:58 AM · Comments (10)

The catering at Villa Park isn't something that bothers me as I don't go to Villa Park for the food and I personally only need a pint at half time which I usually have enough time to drink, but in the spirit of the new Aston Villa, you get to have a say.

The club are running another survey on all things concourse catering and you get to have a say.

You get to have a say on a wide number of things including, healthy options, more beverages and the one I quite like, a hawking service, someone walking around with a tray selling hot dogs maybe or plastic bottles of beer.

Anyway, click here to visit the survey page and have your say.

If we do get hawkers, would we get a say in what the ladies wear ?
;)

Well first of all I wouldn't make the current catering staff redundant... But thats too late I guess....

A Hawkin service sounds good to me. it will be the first in the prem and would definatley boost our reputation to away fans. :)

I think the questions "Do you think the pricing is competitive compared to other grounds?" is a bit misleading. The pricing is expensive (most grounds rip fans off) but compared to others it is not much different.

You guys may take the mickey: but I spend a grand a year on season tickets and probably the same again feeding and and watering a wife and two kids (and a car!)driving from Glos to Villa and back. I don't really want the choice for my boys to be pie, pastie or chips - and at the moment we always eat before of after Birmingham...somewhere where we can get real food.
Don't get me wrong - I'm a beer drinker and a pie muncher and I have 16st of football-watching belly to prove it...but I also have a 7-year-old and a 5-year-old who are Villa season ticket holders and YES!!! I want healthier options for them!
Bring on the Villa salad bar! Put my name on the petition...we're not all just pie-munching, lager-swilling animals!
