Robbie Fowler to Aston Villa?

We all know David O'Leary has a love affair with the player after taking him to Leeds from Liverpool and quite honestly Robbie Fowler of a few years ago was the best striker in the Premiership - but a year before O'Leary bought him the first time!

Fowler likes a beer and a healthy English breakfast for lunch and dinner and hasn't looked the Fowler of old for some time. This is not going to stop O'Leary and coincidentally the player matches the buying criteria of the manager.

O'Leary thinks he can get the player for a cheeky ?1m. and it is believed Manchester City are willing sellers.

?1m. too much in my opinion but we all know O'Leary has an affection with players about to end their careers or spend a prolonged amount of time injured or on the bench.
