Season ticket sales drop at Villa Park

Monday, 03 October 05, 05:10 PM · Comments (0)

Season ticket sales at Villa Park are short 950 on the previous year despite much press from the official site in the summer that they were on target to beat all previous records.

Only six clubs have increased on their previous season. They were Wigan with an additional 7,361, Sunderland with 6,500, West Ham with 4,000, Man United with 2,500, Everton with 2,430 and Tottenham with 2,000.

Chelsea, Newcastle, Arsenal and Liverpool all remained the same, selling out their allocation.

Middlesbrough, Charlton, Birmingham, Man City, Blackburn, Portsmouth, West Brom, Fulham and Bolton are the other teams to suffer drops.
