Gavin McCann is calling for goals on the official web site this morning. We've averaged one a game this season so it would have been nice if this shout went out 20 games ago, but still he's doing his bit and I was just surprised not to see a 'rallying cry' today, but I'm expecting one tomorrow (although probably not now).
The interesting part for me was when he said it was probably going to be a poor quality game. The midfielder said "If you get beat and have to walk off past their fans, it's a sickener. But it will be another typical derby. Hard, competitive and probably poor quality, like the West Brom game was."
When the players are predicting a poor quality game ahead of a match you know something is wrong somewhere.
What will they be telling us next, that we have to accept relegation or worse David O'Leary for another season!
