David O'Leary is without Mark Delaney but Aaron Hughes and Wilfred Bouma are back from injury.
Bouma will return at left-back, allowing Gareth Barry to return to midfield and Hughes is a straight replacement for Delaney.
Baros should start with Phillips with Angel on the bench. No surprises are expected in midfield with Barry, McCann, Davis and Milner all due to start.
Sunderland welcome back Stephen Wright and Christian Bassila, but Julio Arca is out with a foot injury. Stephen Elliott and Andy Gray are set to be recalled in place of Jonathan Stead and Daryl Murphy.
