Sweepstake: It's all about to happen at Villa Park!

Do you want to know how I know? I'll tell you anyway. They're feeding us more gibberish than normal on the official web site and whenever things like this happen in a film, where it all goes eerily silent, you know something big is about to happen.
It's about to happen because we need players and not just three or four to replace the lads that have already left but seven or eight and for this to happen before pre-season training, which is when Martin O'Neill wants the players in, it has to happen very very soon.
Rumours are gathering pace for most teams but Aston Villa haven't had any mentions in the past few days, which is quite strange considering the amount of cash that has been freed up for Martin O'Neill. We see that the Daniel Guiza rumour is gathering pace as it's now on the official site and you all know where you heard it first.
Anyway, it's happening and I'm personally very confident that any day now, it's about to start, but why not have a sweepstake. All you've got to do is give us a date below in the comment form which you think will be the first day we sign a player.
All the correct dates will get a chance to win a St Martin t-shirt. We've only got a few of these left and have decided give the last few away, so expect a few more competitions over the next few weeks.
