The BBC are looking for a few Asian Aston Villa fans; interested?

Wednesday, 09 August 06, 04:05 PM · Comments (0)

This is one of the strangest posts I've put up in a long time, almost as strange as when David O'Leary was caught texting a waitress at a Birmingham restaurant and then denying it; but let's move on.

The BBC have contacted us and are looking for, as they put it, 'Brit-Asian' Aston Villa fans for a new television programme to start broadcasting in January 2007. As the leading Aston Villa news portal (not my words) they've asked if we can help out.

The series is called Desi DNA and it's a stylish, fast paced and intelligent look at the next generation of Asian talent that has emerged and made an impact crossing-over in art, music, film, literature, fashion and design. This new series will also be following some die hard Villa fan.

you've got to be avid and passionate for Aston Villa as they're going to want to explore the love you have for the game and the mighty Aston Villa.

If you're an Aston Villa fan that attends regularly and are interested in having a TV crew follow you around for a few days or weeks then get in contact with us and we'll point you in the right direction.
