You know how it happens. You're normally kicking back, relaxing with your thoughts, or something, and you come up with a great idea. Well, you always think think it's great at the time.
So, this is probably not a great idea but for now I think it is. The basis for the idea is to get the best out of the infrastructure that we have rather than try to reinvent the wheel.
My idea is to give free bus travel to and from the ground with every ticket purchased.
Now, I'm not talking about having park and ride points but attaching two tear off strips to the actual ticket that can be used on match day. One takes you to the stadium and the other takes you away from the stadium.
This way, you have a bus for every thirty or forty cars. It makes sense to me and with the extra money coming in next season it's something they can offer for free.
The club don't actually have to do anything to make it easier but if they give us an option to make it easier and we don't use it or it doesn't get better; who have we got to blame? It's a no brainer for me.
It's also good for the environment which is something a football club like Aston Villa should be concerned about and looking at ways to help.
I would have put this on the survey if I was allowed but I've apparently already filled it in. I have no idea when I did that but I must have.
If you've had an idea and can't add it, because like me you've already filled in the survey or you just don't want to go through the survey, list it below and if any make me think 'bloody good idea' I'll forward it on.

Twatish idea
I see what you're saying, but in reality I think this would only add to the congestion, because with the way the UK loves their cars, only a certain percentage would use the buses. A real hornets nest this issue... :'(www.claretandbluewedding.com
Its a good idea, and would work if it wasn't for the public being too lazy to use the service provided.
not everyone can be kept happy (see jack gallimore below) but by providing another option, one that is already there just under utilised it might help. at the very least the club can say 'you've got another option, that will work' what more do you want?'
but look at london. you pay £8 in the congestion zone and it's supposed to reduce the amount of cars ... but it hasn't.
its a good idea, but will it be an effective way of travelling. wat about building a underground car park between the villa village shop and the concrete paradise, north stand?
There is no way that idea is practical, can you imagine thousands of ppl forming an orderly que at the end of every game and by the time you get on a bus you would have a nightmare trying to navigate through the thousands of supporters leaving the game.As for giving it us for free the club would still have to pay for the hire of the bus ,fuel, drivers wages ,i'd rather that money be spent on solving the congestion at the refreshment stands in the lower tier of the holt which would mean i wouldnt miss ten mins of the half queing up for a drink.
