You're not going to have seen this rumour in the press because this is the first time you're going to have heard about it; Aston Villa have been offered Kepa Blanco González.
Kepa is the Spanish U21 captain, although he'll be 23 in January, and currently plays for Sevilla. He's affectionately known as the 'super sub' in La Liga but at the moment can't get into the team on a regular basis.
The player has been offered to Aston Villa on loan until the end of the season with an option to purchase for £2mn. in the summer.
We'll maybe never find out of this is true or not as it's still in the offer stage but if it does turn out to be true will you be happy?

Anything is better than what we got up front at the moment.
Personally i think A) its about time we did this loan with a view to buying and 2m is nothing these days, can;t wait to see him onboard :)
Kepa might well be called the super sub, but his goal scoring record isn't very good at all.
This season he's scored just 3 in 9 appearances, and has only played 90 minutes once, that was the game he got all 3.
In the past 37 games for Sevilla he's netted 9, not a prolific scorer then.
Sound like he's another Juan Pablo Angel.
We may as well sign him on loan (if we really have been offered him). We've got nothing to lose by doing it, and, in the words of the National Accident Helpline, perhaps a lot to gain.
Hi, friends ¡¡
Excuse me for my english level ....
I have heard that Aston Villa is interesed in Kepa.
I am Seville Supporters, and I think that Kepa is a very good fordward; perhaps Kepa has the best goal scoring of all forwards from Seville ( Kanoute, Luis Fabiano, Chevanton and now Kerzakov)
I like Aston Villa, and I think that Kepa would be a very big player.
Good afternoon. Kepa has the best Seville´s goal per minute average. When he play, he usually scores twice and make a good offense work. Kepa is not playing too much, cause we have other star forwards like Kanouté, Luis Fabiano, Chevantón or recently-signed Kerzhakov. Kepa is a large talented player and an excellent header. I think Kepa would triumph in Aston Villa.
comparison to: Cruz (Internazionale Milan), Crouch (Liverpool) or McBride.
I support both Sevilla and Villa (because of the name) and I agree with the people who actually watch the player in the spanish league that he is a good player suited to the english premier league. It would also be nice to see a player trade frm one club I support to the other.
aint this the bloke hu was on loan west ham abit earlier in the season if it is he isnt that gud cus e hardly plyed 4 them and wen e did e did terrible only scored once in his loan spell
