Sam Williams' first half strike looked like it wasn't going to be enough for Villa before Craig Gardner netted his fourth in three games and substitute Philip Green got the winner with seconds to go.

Villa are now sitting top of the Academy League and hope to press on with the development of what has already described as a squad full of potential Premiership players, with a majority of them part of the title-chasing Reserve side.
