Wanted: Official club sponsor

Okay, so the news is out that Aston Villa need a sponsor for next season after DWS confirmed they will not be renewing or Aston Villa face starting the campaign with a sponsor-less shirt.

I for one wouldn't be too disappointed about if I could buy an Aston Villa shirt without the sponsors logo all over it like you could a few years ago but knowing my luck we'll probably end up with some local building firm in time as an absolute last resort or maybe even a brewery.

Obviously there is a financial concern to not having a shirt sponsor and Sven Goran Eriksson was only to keen to point out that we don't actually sell that many anyway.

What Villa should do is go to the Far East and pick up the next bright thing for a couple of million and the negative impact of having no sponsor will be recouped by the shirt sales with the new players name on the back.

While we are talking about the shirt can we get a kit manufacturer that can sell the shirts on a bigger scale? I'm sure Stuart Ryan is working on this but Hummel could probably do it if they really wanted to.

Lastly if anyone at Aston Villa or Hummel is reading this can I please get an Aston Villa shirt without the sponsor logo on it? I'll even pay more for the privilege.
