I'd certainly not want to tell my children this story at night otherwise they would be likely to wake up having nightmares.
The football is the worst football I have seen at Villa Park for as long as I can remember. There is no passion, direction or belief.
If we took the results from the last 38 matches we would have been relegated.
Why should we wait until the position is made too difficult for a new manager to come in and fix. As it stands right now we're 9 points away from 10th place - it is simply not good enough hand we shouldn't accept it any longer.
At 4/1 David O'Leary is now the clear favourite with the bookmakers to be the first premiership manager to get the sack. Get your money on him because if Doug Ellis has consistently done one thing at Villa Park it's get rid of the manger when things don't work out.
If the manager had a history of good football, had won something or even if one of his previous teams had had a better season than the one before I'd say give him a chance but O'Leary has no record to back him up.
Doug, please do it now before we get dragged into something that we might find we can't get out of.
