Was Lerner ever in the race?

According to reports American billionaire Randy Lerner is now no longer interested in Aston Villa. Let's pray that we're not left with Michelle Neville.

If Lerner was ever interested I don't understand why his interest has waned. Aston villa represents a good proposition and I'm very concerned that if Neville is the only interested party we'll end up with someone or some group that can potentially put our club in a great deal of trouble.

Let's hope that the Athole Still rumour is true and he's serious about his interest in Aston Villa Football Club.
