We could batter Birmingham City but O'Leary still has to go

Friday, 14 April 06, 08:26 AM · Comments (0)

David O'Leary has had his three seasons. He has had more money to spend than most and he's had more opportunities than any manager under Doug Ellis to improve the football. The overwhelming desire to see David O'Leary gone is at it's peak.

We ran a poll earlier this week asking regardless of results from the remaining games should O'Leary be sacked and 61.7% said yes.

When a manager calls the fans fickle, when he lies to us and when he starts having verbal slanging matches with supporters behind the dug out it's a clear indication that he's not up to the job.

O'Leary has lost the dressing room. I suspect he had it for the first season but he lost it soon after. People like him soon get figured out and he's now lost the supporters. There is no way back and O'Leary has to go.

I'm convinced the board are only keeping him on until we are safe and if this is the case we should all be happy. Let's hope for a victory on Sunday and the sack for David O'Leary on Monday. The players are now playing to get O'Leary the sack so expect them to put everything in in the knowledge that will happen.
