When will our Bouma be back?

Thursday, 12 January 06, 12:17 PM · Comments (0)

Wilfred Bouma
Wilfred Bouma will not make the West Ham game and it could be a couple more weeks before we see him again in claret and blue.

David O'Leary told the official web site today "He's still not right and he won't be in the frame for West Ham. He looks like he'll be out for another couple of weeks yet. But I've been told he won't need surgery or anything like that."

We were told something similar to this a week before Phillips went under the knife for a cracked bone in his ankle so let's hope the advice given to O'Leary this time is spot on.

Bouma can play in central defence and has done for Holland so he's definitely somebody we want fit and he has looked better and better every time he's pulled on the shirt.
