Whitts joins Derby on loan

Peter Whittingham today joined Derby County on loan for three months.
The former Coventry City trainee has been given the chance to gain some first team football by David O'Leary, who wants the player to get more match experience.
Villa have a 24-hour release clause that becomes active after the first month of the loan spell.
