I'm a big fan of Zoltan Stieber and have been since he joined us in 2005, but I must admit to only having seen play the once and I don't think it was his best game.
I like him because I've got this uncanny belief in all of the kids that come through and are brought in to the Academy - call it pure optimism and pure stupidity, but I like the feeling.
Anyway, having joined Yeovil in late November he was due to come back to us on January 1st but the deal has been extended until the end of the month. He has played seven and scored one and the supporters like him, quite a lot.
Darren from the green room, a Yeovil Town supporter forum is happy with the extension "We’ve been very impressed by Zoltan and delighted that he’s been given another month".
"He has lots of energy, and is hungry for the ball. He’s got a good footballing brain, and seems to be able to think a couple of steps ahead in order to anticipate chances — his goal against Brighton is a prime example."
Overall, first team football can only be good for the lad and you never know, there could very well be a chance for him sometime this season to show the first team what he is made of.

I like seeing our youngsters go out on loan, ive seen him play in the reserves a few times and seems very decent. cant wait to see what comes of this harry forrester lad aswel.
I like seeing them go out on loan... as long as they come back - Cahill I'm talking to you!
can anyone remember mika aaritalo playing for the reserves? he's the best player on fm 08!
also whats happened to sam williams? also like to know if the american we brought in the summer is nearing fitness
we should talk about the reserves more often here
ZS played in at least one preseason game this term- i hoped to see him abit more. we dont seem to thread too many through balls between defenders for our pacy strikers to run on to (perhaps the opposition gets very deep??) but he seemed to have some ability to do this. the weight of his passing was excellent, but i dont remember him being particularly large.
Sam Williams got dumped along with Olejnek, Henderson and the other failures of last season in the reserves. Still, to replace them we've got Parish, Bevan, Forrester, Delfouneso, Albrighton, Bannan, Bellon Brothers, Salifou, Clancy and Stieber. I expect more than half of these will be fairly successful with either Villa or another team that picks 'em up.
