Change is good and I generally like change. I like how my TV is now made out of plasma, is flat against my wall and takes up little space and I like it that my computer can be carried wherever I go and that I don't have to turn it on the night before.
However, I don't like it that there is talk that my local village school is going to get merged with a much bigger school and I also don't like it that the club have decided to call our badge a crest.
I don't like it for two reasons. The first is because if we allow them to change the name of this what else will they try and get away with? But my other reason is the most important and is good enough by itself; it's not actually called a crest!
Now, I went a little crazy with this and it is Sunday and I have little else to do as it's pouring with rain outside so I went searching. First I searched for the most popular online dictionary and found Dictionary.com and then found out that it's the 188th most visited website on the planet.
Then I did search on Dictionary.com for 'crest' and 'badge'. The results are below in case you didn't figure out you could click on the links;

To me it's clear what it should be called but I'm going quick question mad today and have added another question to the right. Your results will either be forwarded to the club or never discussed again.

Could you BE any more pedantic?
It's just a word.
Some people may say crest, whereas other will say badge.
Typical Sunday bordeom ;)
Badge - it's always been a blinking badge! Watch out for the blue!

Call it what you like, i will wear it with pride
THE VILLA BADGE IS BETTER BUT IT NEEDS THE CLARET AND BLUE IN THE BACKGROUND TO MAKE IT LOOK BETTER
