It is official! F.C. Barcelona to play Chivas in Chicago on August 3rd 2008 at Soldier Field and I personally think it will be a slaughter (And of course I mean Barca will be doing the slaughtering!) - and I can not wait to watch it unfold...

A lot of people seem to think that Chivas won't be as easy to beat but I have a feeling this is going to be a really good game on US soil. True Barcelona did finish a disappointing 3rd in the Spanish League but they are a great team! For now Barcelona’s roster includes stars like Ronaldinho (who has fallen out of popularity with the club and now it seems is not really wanted by any team - can you say "half off sale on  the buck-tooth Brazilian?" LOL), Lionel Messi (who will not be at the game since he is playing for Argentina in the summer olympics), Thierry Henry (which I honestly can not stand but we will see what happens with this game), Andrés Iniesta and Rafael Márquez. So depending on who will be the choice for the final pick for the starting lineup and the sub-lineup, we will see what the turnout is.
