Filipe Luis' proposed move from Deportivo La Coruna to Barcelona is no closer to being sealed, with Depor president Augusto Lendoiro rejecting Barca's latest offer.

Speaking to AS, Lendoiro said, "We have an offer of €8 million that we consider completely insufficient, given that his buy-out clause is €20 million.

"Once they pay the clause, then they can start negotiating. Filipe's agents already know that if there is to be a transfer, we want it to conclude soon."

Lendoiro then said that he was not interested in receiving fringe players from Barcelona as part of the deal, while denying that he had offered Filipe to Real Madrid. The Brazilian has made his intention to move to the Camp Nou abundantly clear in recent times.
