Edmundo is the man of the weekend in Brazil

Palmeiras beat Corinthians 3 x 0 last Sunday in one of the Sao Paulo's major classic games. Both teams are in bad shape a loss in the game would be the crisis everybody wants to avoid. Edmundo, a 35 year-old veteran player, was the man of the match he scored twice and assisted Osmar to score another goal. The game was for the Paulista Championship.
Edmundo, better known as 'The Animal' played for Vasco, Palmeiras, Flamengo, Corinthians, Santos, Fluminense, Fiorentina and Cruzeiro.
