Finally we see the beginning of Arsene's attempt to patch up the obvious holes in the center of Arsenal's defense and midfield. </p> <p> Sylvestre is a versatile player who will aid this young team. He brings a lot of experience which will certainly help the younger players during the tough games ahead. On the other hand let us not forget he has been a fucking Red since '99. He certainly has been corrupted by that bastard knight of a manager. Wenger needs to quickly teach him the Arsenal way and show him how to play quality soccer. </p> <p> I also wonder whether Arsene plans on utilizing Sylvestre as soon as this weekend's upcoming play date with Fulham. With Fabregas injured and Nasri pulling out of the French friendly against Sweden because of a thigh strain, he might be needed before he has settled in as a Gunner. By the way, talking about the French friendly and a glorified Gunner, how about that Thierry Henry backheel pass to Govou to set up their third goal. Vintage Thierry. All the best to you, we still love you! </p> <p> Its nice to dream of the good ol' times but back to present time Arsenal. Sylvestre was a great signing because of the fact that we got him cheap. I still believe that Wenger needs to work a little more magic and sign another dependable defending center mid that will compliment Fabregas when he returns from injury. </p> <p> By the way, where is Rosicky? He has been injured for an unbelievable amount of time for what was diagnosed last year to only last several weeks.
