1 Is Better then None

The Breakers are still looking for the win to put them in to first.  But the 0-0 tie between Them and the LA sol Kept them close to the top.  The Defense were really tested on Sunday when the Sol's offense kept coming hard.  It was a really Intense game.  Shot Count was 8 to 11 with the breakers with 11.  Both teams had 2 yellow cards given out,  Hucles, and Augustyniak-Goffi for the Breakers and Boxx, and Abily were booked for the Sol.  In addition to that there were 18 fouls for The Sol and 16 for Boston.  It was a very rough game as you can see.  The back line was on a roll holding Marta and the rest of the their offense.  Kristin Luckenbill made a few great saves stoping the Sol from jumping a head.

Don't forget Boston Breakers have another home game this sunday.  It will also be shown on Fox soccer channel if you can not make the game.  But trust me you want to see this team play with the talent they all have.

The Breakers will be honoring Maren Meinert   in to the Pillars Of Excellence during half time of there next game.

Also The U.S National Team has set a roster for upcoming games against Japan.  A-Rod, Heather Mitts, Angela Hucles and  first timer Amy LePeilbet.  A-rod, Mitts and Hucles have all played for the national team  contributing to the gold medal match.  None of these players will miss any Breakers match so I would like to wish them good luck in those games.
