Kick off was at 12.00 midday Everton battled from a goal down to secure a 1-1 draw against Manchester United at Goodison Park.United took the lead on 21 minutes through Darren Fletcher,
Everton levelling terms in the second half through Marouane Fellaini.
The visitors opened the scoring following a bright start from the Toffees, Fletcher shooting through the legs of Tim Howard after a great surging run from midfield.
United could have extended their lead before the break, Ryan Giggs and Wayne Rooney going close, while Ronaldo saw his dipping strike turned around the post by the Toffees keeper.
In an open second half Everton equalised on 64 minutes when Fellaini headed home after meeting Phil Neville’s pinpoint cross.
The Toffees went close to a second moments later as Yakubu latched on to Rio Ferdinand’s short backpass, but saw his shot pushed on to the post by Edwin van der Saar.
