Wayne Rooney was so focused on putting Manchester United ahead in their crucial derby clash with City that he forgot it was his 100th club goal.Even though the opening exchanges were largely uneventful, there was no doubt that United were the better side early on. Sir Alex Ferguson's side were passing the ball around nicely as the home side looked very nervous. Having said that, there weren't too many clear-cut chances for the visitors with a Cristiano Ronaldo header the closest they came to opening the scoring.
