Full time Manchester United go 8 points clear at the top of the table they beat Blackburn 2-1 in their Premier League match at Old Trafford in a tough game for the reds.Cristiano Ronaldo's free-kick gave United victory after Roque Santa Cruz breached their defence for the first time in the league since November 8.
Nani fed Wayne Rooney to give United the lead , but Santa Cruz shrugged off Rio Ferdinand and rounded Tomasz Kuszczak to draw Rovers level.
