Arsenal 4 Cardiff City 0 FA Cup Highlights

Monday, 16 February 09, 04:05 PM

more arsenal for a freind request

Eduardo scored twice in his first start for almost a year as Arsenal beat Cardiff 4-0 in the FA Cup fourth round replay. The Brazilian-born Croatia striker headed home the opener in the 20th minute, helped in the creation of the goal, feeding Carlos Vela down the left; the Mexican then chipped a delightful ball back into the box as the frontman guided his header into the corner. This second game from the spot calmly placing home a penalty he had won himself on the hour mark.

His impressive all-round display suggests he is fully recovered from the horrific leg break that kept him out for so long
The Croatian, back from a broken leg, met Carlos Vela’s cross to head home and Nicklas Bendtner - who also hit the post - headed in the second as Arsenal dominated the replay,Robin Van Persie netted and hit the post.
Arsenal will now play Burnley at the Emirates in the fifth round and if they can get revenge on the side that knocked them out of the Carling Cup they will enjoy another home tie in the quarter-finals against Hull City or Sheffield United.

What a game this was watford had a 1-0 lead with 12 mins to go then anelka hits two goals in 80 seconds then a third in the last few minutes to bag a hatrick!
However, with Hiddink watching from the comfort of the stands alongside owner Roman Abramovic, Anelka hit back almost immediately before heading in a second 80 seconds later to break the dogged resistance of the Championship side.

Jobi McAnuff missed a golden chance to level in the dying seconds before Chelsea went up field and the France striker sealed his hat-trick to ensure stand-in boss Ray Wilkins did not preside over an embarrassing loss in his only game in charge before Hiddink takes the reigns
