Northern Ireland took a early lead over Poland after Warren Feeney swept home Damien Johnson’s head. But the Poland game back Ireneusz Jelen broke the home offside trap beat beating Maik Taylor. After the break the hosts restored their lead, Jonny Evans scored inside the six-yard box after Grant McCann’s corner fell at the defenders’ feet. And then came one of the worst goals conceded in Artur Boruc’s career, Michal Zewlakow played a 30-yard backpass to the Celtic keeper, only for the number one to totally balls up his kick with the ball rolling under his foot and into the net. Marek Saganowski scored witha sweet diving heade at the end.A great win for Ireland.

England got a good home win today playing Slovakia.Heskey hit the first followed by a rooney header and lampard put the game beyond Slovakia.Rooney then hit another late in the game lets hope the new kit is a good omen.England paid a heavy price for a 4-0 friendly win over Emile Heskey ,Carlton Cole and Peter Crouch all had to come off.
