Why Bradley sucks

Sunday, 08 July 07, 11:26 PM · Comments(12)

bob bradley is solely responsible for the poor showing of the US in the copa america,by bringing the B-C starting line-up to the oldest of soccer tournaments the United States gave a big Fuck You to the whole of sudamerica that actually wanted to win the cup.if you want to give your kids exp then put them in friendly matches with power house teams like El Salvador,China,Trinidad Tobago,Panama,Canada,Guatamala and Denmark.(all of these wins are great triumphs for him) And don't our A-squad need some practice with teams that are worth a damn after Germany 2006.Yes we have to think ahead to the future of US soccer, but to insult our neighbors to the south and keep a team that would have given anything to be there(Costa Rica) out seems like a wast of the invite, come to win or don't come.I'm not saying we could have brought the cup home but at least give it your all,who knows you might just get so respect from world soccer and not have to come home rubbing your ass and making us look stupid and complacent.

P.S. this rant in know way takes away from the decent showing of the 22 that played, given the time to prep the exp of the players the group they were put in and environment of the games they gave it there all (except Eddie Johnson...he sucks)

One, Eddie Johnson doesn't suck. He was the best player in the Copa match against Argentina. Two, Bradley didn't have a choice, so don't blame him. Blame FIFA. FIFA allowed clubs to call back their
players because the US was a guest in the Copa America. That's why our best European players and Landon Donovan were missing. Michael Bradley was also busy with the U-20 World Cup.

one you must have miss the 3 matches the US played ,Eddie Johnson was mediocre at best ,when he felt he could not win the foot race to ball in all the matches he would give up on the play ,and when
he did get good service(witch was rare)he would pull back and wait for support ,bottom line not aggressive enough ,he has to be willing to be the play maker and at least try to make something happen
so for now he dose suck two i will blame bradley because when he picks a team he doesnt look past the collage pool that seems to be saturating MLS right now, the US doesnt have the infrastructure to
recognize talent like Europe or south America witch means you might have to do some leg work to find new talent in your own back yard, so i will blame him, and i am not a big fan of the boywonder
mikey anyway but hes still young so I'll reserve my opinion

Forza, I'm not going to get into the Eddie Johnson argument, but I think you're way off saying that by not sending our best team, we're giving South America the finger. Brazil hasn't sent its best 11
to the tournament, so why would a guest nation feel required to send their best? Also, had Mexico not had such a poor showing in the US, I doubt they'd have sent their best team.

afters and LLCazz don't know too much about soccer or maybe you just don't give a f___ about others, seem to be the overall american mentality ForzaRoma is right, Eddie Johnson at the moment sucks.
Bradly is just not the right man to coach this team. I still think the US should do everything that is neccessary to get Jurgen Klinsman to coach this team no matter what, if you get invited to the
oldest tournament in the world, that is a huge honor and we should send the best team available ok so Brazil did not send the best 11, actually only a few european based players were left out,
they're are still the best team in the world. To blame FIFA for allowing players to get called back is a poor excuse, since european leagues still have their summer breaks. Besides if you as a player
get a chance to play in a tournament like this you should be happy you can play

MLS should have a summer break of 2 month at least, so player can go to national team tournaments.

I believe the U.S. has to realize that they need to bring more talent to the league and participate in more international matches to really improve. This self-imposed semi-isolation is really hurting
them. Just because they know how to defeat Mexico with homefield advantage doesn't mean the team is THAT good. In fact, outside of a good showing in 2002 (in which the team was lucky to face a well
known rival in Mexico in the second round), the U.S. hasn't won anything worth mentioning or at least put competitive teams out there. As far as the MLS imposing a break, I don't believe that is
necessary. Other teams in other countries just make do without some starters for a couple of weeks. I can't see why the MLS was unable to do that. For the record, I don't think the "A" team would
have faired much better.

I just think it's ironic that Bradley sent his son to the U20's who are doing quite well in Canada and NOT to the Copa America. Hmmm....

brazil wants this tournament as much as argentina because of the cup but also because of the confederation cup which brings experience n money to the team... very positive to any team so they for
sure wanted to bring their a team knowing argentina was going too..... other teams r more realistic some players missing cause they know they dont have a chance anyways knowing arg n bra were going
to bring power houses.....

I dont believe that the USA would have made it out of the group stage anyway. Paraguay is a lot stronger than them, and with Riqueleme in top form Argentina is the best team in the world.

Both Bradley's suck and until we get rid of them U.S. won't beat a decent team.
