Ok, Robinho showed 10 minutes of his class, but this Brazil full of muscles and centimetres did not deserve such a score. Chile could draw with Humberto Suazo in the second half, but after six, seven dribbles his shot were stopped by Juan. If the player of Monterrey scored, it wouldn't have been easy for the Seleçao to get through but Brazil, good for Dunga, has Robinho.
The Brazilian coach has been criticized for being unexperienced, and maybe he is going against the tradition and the characteristics of the Verde-oro team: no fantasy, a lot of defensive midfielder, no stars (but here it's not Dunga's fault). The quarterfinals seem to be reached, but Brazil needs more if they want to win the Copa. Chile, on the contrary, played well until second Robinho's goal, but they were too nervous during the match, especially after the penalty kick assigne to the Brazilian at the end of first half.
Let's see what happens next Wednesday in Group B, anyway it's a good thing for Brazil that if they will be second at the end, they'll face (what a strange format!) the best third. For Chile it's going to be tough, but beforewe have to wait what happens between Mexico and Ecuador.
well, after they won firstgame to Ecuador, it was quite normal Chile played not to loose, let me say that with a "normal" Brazil with 2 or 3 talented players would have won 4-0 or 5-0. Anyway, I
think Chile will get through...
Gabriele, I also think Best Player in the World is too heavy to Canavaro. But I guess this is football, right? hehe About Chile, I don`t think they played that well. Valdivia seems tired and Suazo
had that chance. Not more than that. Totally agree on Brazil`s defensive Midfielder. I guess Dunga is inspired by Mauro Silva, Dunga, Mazinho and Zinho from 94 .. it worked against Italy... but I am
not sure if it will work this time
Gabriele, I agree with everything else you said after..."Ok, Robinho showed 10 minutes of his class, but this Brazil full of muscles and centimetres did not deserve such a score." But, for me, it's
not the good football or who was the better team, that gets you wins, but it's goals. Goals get you victories and Chile didn't score any goals and so they lost. Brazil scored, or Robinho scored 3
goals and gave his country a deserved win, by putting the ball in the back of the net. Chile didn't do that, so they deservedly lost, in my eyes. No matter what the stats say, it's Brazil 3, Chile 0.
It's funny how Brazil thinks they can breeze through the group stages without Kaka or Ronaldinho, or Adriano. They beat Chile 3-0 though hardly deserved it. I think that penalty kick was a foolish
call by the ref, and Robinho was close to missing it as well. His last 2 goals were nice don't get me wrong, but Chile was constantly on the offensive trying to grab a goal leaving their defense weak
to the brilliance of Robinho. Chile had more good chances than Brazil did in the 2nd half until the last 10 minutes. It is to bad for Chile becuase losing 3-0 brought down their goal differential
significantly, which opens the door for teams that had bad losses in the first round like the US, and Colombia.
I don't agree with all Gabriele said. I don't think Robinho only play 10 munites well. since the copa has started he been brazil the best player. if look at the selecao team the look like Equator who
try to make it the second around. Hate it or love it Robinho he is the best at Copa america right now. I can't wait to see him play agin cuz to hes fun to watch him play.
Well, well. So somebody thinks Chile did not deserve to loose so heavily. Final score Brazil 3 Chile 0. Let me tell that one that Chile does not have much and the victory against Ecuador was more a
defeat the Ecuadoreans handes upon themselves than the rotos having done some merits to win. Perhaps the reds were expecting the same against the verde amarelo and lost the bet.
Mau, even 5th best player is too much for cannavaro :) chile did not play that well, but didnt deserve to loos with 3 goals...
Johny, that is completley wrong when you say that Robinho is the best player at the Copa America. I can't deny his skill, i mean the guy is favored by Pele, so you know...but he is not the best
player there. Leo Messi is the best player there. and i'm not just saying that because he's a Barca player, but because it's true. No one else dribbles through defenses like he does, and he does it
more often than any other player in the world, even more than Ronaldinho. so Robinho is great, but Messi, IS EVEN GREATER! Truth be told.

I think Chile didn't come to the field to play... they wanted the tie or a small score lost... the one great play by Suazo was the only one that really showed the Chilean talent... but they paid the
price for "un-playing" the game
I agree entirely with manogil. This goes for all sport, and all competition in general - anytime you come with the intention not to lose as opposed to the intention to win, the likelihood of a
positive result decreases dramatically. Case in point - Brazil punishing Chile.
