Jocelyn Angloma, former Marseille, Torino and Inter Milan right back, has scored an incredible goal for his new national team of Guadeloupe, in their 2-1 win against Canada at Miami Orange Bowl. With this historical goal, Guadeloupe conquers Concacaf Gold Cup quarterfinals. Angloma, that ended his European career at Valencia, is now playing for Etoile Morne a l’Eau, a small club of the French department of Guadeloupe, where Angloma was born and started playing football.

I am impressed also for the colors of Guadalupe's uniform. Green, yellow, white, red... almost the entire rainbow.. hehe
SM I think he can play for a new Nats team because he is currently in am amateur league. Another loop hole.
SM, I think it is because Guadeloupe cannot be a FIFA member (being part of the French Republic) but they are a CONCACAF member. The rule by which you cannot play for 2 different national teams is a FIFA rule, so CONCACAF allowed him to play Gold Cup with the Guadeloupe, though he is a former French international...

He and Romario could play together.. hehe Romario scored 3 gols in three games that he played in Brasileirao (two penalty kicks, of course, but still three goals).
i'm not surprised by him scoring, because he is a class player... but how is he allowed in an official tournament to play for a NEW national team?
