Can Theo Do It For Us ?

Thursday, 11 September 08, 05:21 AM · Comments(0)

Theo Walcott scored a fantastic hat trick for England last night and hopefully now he can come back to Arsenal and do the same for us. I was impressed with the positions he took up for the first 2 goals. He came in from wide right and waited for the right ball in space and finished very well for both goals. He then scored the third by using his pace and his left to finish (see link below).

Niklas Bendtner also scored a fine goal for Denmark as per usual in their superb win away to Portugal. Clichy made his debut for France in a 2-1 win against Serbia and played well enough too.

Looking forward to the weekend there are rumours of Nasri being injured which could give Carlos Vela a chance on the left. Appearently Diaby is also fit to play but we shall see if that is true. Hopefully all the other players will be fit to play after their midweek excursions. Eduardo has said he hopes to be playing by Christmas so he should be back before Rosicky then.

Paul O'Donovan is an Arsenal fan who has resigned his top post at Vodafone and has been rumoured to be interested in the Eldeman vacancy at Arsenal so we could see him appointed quite soon hopefully. He obviousy is experienced in the business world and being a fan always is a plus to me. That's about it for today I'll leave you with the usual links.

Here's a clip of Bendtner's goal for Denmark last night.

And to finish a little bit of Music from eastwood & Saint.
