John Terry has said that Arsenal shouldn't be written off yet and we are still a threat in the league. Does he mean the type of threat that Denis Wise thought that aged taxi driver was to him or a real threat. I would propose the former, an imaginary one. I'm sure he is only saying it because we play them in 12 days time. We can still beat anyone on our day but as for a sustained threat in the league until something changes in our mindset that just isn't going to happen. I'm sure we'll be up for the Chelsea game as we were for United but will we be up for City this week and Wigan the week after Chelsea ?
Anyway it's another international break and obviously there is a lot of speculation as to who we might buy in January. We have been linked with Koke Resurreccion of Atletico Madrid just because of the amount of money we would make from printing his name on jerseys. Also mentioned is Eden Hazard of Lille and Cana of Marsaille who are players I can't remember being linked with us previously. At least they are new names not to get excited about. Fabianski has been rumoured to be going to PSG on loan or on a permanent deal in exchange for Landreau but again it's just talk. That's the lot for today.
Here's a clip of our former captain Paddy Vieira.

And to finish an old 7" single, by Mikey Dread, I found in my attic and converted last night.

Unfortunately, while I can see us posing a threat when we raise our game, we haven't got the consistency or squad to challenge this season.

Johnny is right. Arsenal always pose a threat anytime in the season. Sure, they've lost a couple of easy games to Stoke, and Hull etc, but they have such a dangerous team with Fabregas and Theo Walcott, so be warned don't think they won't threaten for the titles in both Europe and England
