I think this is a decent draw for us. The other two teams I do not fear at all. If we can qualify from this group, even in 2nd place if necessary, we avoid Barca again until the final. No other team in the tournament scares me at all. And even against Barca it is 50/50. So I believe that we have a great opportunity to make the final this year.

Morning Morf,

Sofia are a bit of an unknown quantity but I don't think they hold many fears for us. Bremen are a very good side though - strong midfield and Klose up front who could prove troublesome for our defence. Expect us to make it through to the second phase without too much trouble though.

absolutely right about bremen, Jonathan.
careful, they play a very fast and attacking style.
best players are klose and new boy diego from porto, once playing together with robinho at santos.
dont underestimate them.

Yes I think the draw is pretty good also, and the other plus is the travelling, the boys don't have to go too far.
Possibly goal difference could settle the top of this group, but as you say JD, Bremen are a pretty useful side and could spring a surprise or upset along the way.

Bremen were unlucky not to beat Juventus in the knockout stages last season - as I recall they were up on aggregate until their keeper had a touch of the Dave Beasants with a couple of minutes remaining!

This group will definatley be decided on Goal Difference. Although Jose would love nothing more then to beat his old club Barca - I think neither manager will risk losing to one another. These are not must win games like in the knockout section.

That side - should either Sofia or Bremen get a result against either CFC or Barca, then those games will become crucial.

I have to say, this has been the most nervous I have been since Jose joined. I honestly am worried about retaining the premiership and for some reason am crapping myself that we won't qualify from our group stage in the Champions league. I just see trouble brewing amongst the squad and Jose getting pressure from our beloved Roman.

That said - I have a really strong feeling we will win the FA cup this year.

P.S. Please god let Tevez join us - we missed out on Rooney, don't let us miss out on Tevez as well to the ManUre!!

God bless Roman!!
